>>76473762I also started out as a skelly. I made countless attempts to lift and get big. Whenever I didn't see any changes after about 6 months, I gave up again. Finally, I decided that I would stick with it no matter what, and after nine months I saw the first changes, after about 12 months the first people noticed something, and after 15 to 18 months of consistent training I no longer looked completely dyel, and after about two years I was finally out of dyel territory. I've been at it for 7 years now, and in recent years I've only been doing maintenance work, which has been very easy. Of course, you can always achieve faster results with a stricter (bulking) diet or a stricter training, but overall, you have to remember that it's usually a slow process and that consistency is the key. Don't be discouraged by slow results, because if you do everything right, the gains will come. FYI: when I started, I barely weighed 140lbs at 6'0. Keep in mind that even after gaining 20 lbs of LBM with a similar bf% I still only weighed 160lbs. That was a big improvement and I looked much better, but of course I was still skinny and it took a few more years to reach 190lbs. My point is, if you need to gain that much muscle mass, it will simply take a very long time.
