>still have an extremely obvious hanging belly, not much fat anywhere else apparently, people saying I look skinnier but no idea what the fuck they're on about

Did I fuck up my dieting or could I lose the belly in the last 7kg? No way I need to get under 70 and into the 60kgs right? I'm like 5 10. Have I wasted nearly half a year guys because I was too self conscious to bulk instead of cut

to have abs at 5'10 you probably need to dip into the 60s unless you're really strong

That's exactly what that statement means? It's more about getting to a certain weight than strength training.

If you want abs keep cutting until you're in the 60s, THEN bulk. That's how you looksmax. You may need to do multiple cycles of this. Bulk, cut, bulk, cut.
