>almost all my calories from booze, eat a real meal maybe once every two days and it’s garbage like hamburgers or pizza
>lose a shit ton of weight
>still have loads of energy and can’t sleep unless drunk

>sober up
>fix my diet to eat clean
>start lifting 4 days a week
>constantly tired, always ready for a nap
>sleep like a rock unaided but always groggy and ready to go back to sleep immediately
>gain a bunch of weight

I feel like I’ve been tricked. Aside from my face being all bloaty and red most of the time my quality of life as an alcoholic seemed better
