Theres nowadays this absolutely woman level tier retarded trend of "gourmet" burger joints. The zoomer soiboi at my workplace takes his fat fuck feminist gf and his manly gorilla sister to this retarded burger restaurant where each burger is 40 euros, even tho he is a minimal wage worker. Whenever i wanna eat slop burgers i make my own at home, they are tastier, not trashed by charring and the cheese in it doesnt give me acne tumors beyond human comprehension.

Yeah, these new "upscale" burger joints are extremely hit or miss, and rarely can you say that they are worth the extra money. I am actually not a fan of this recent trend of half-pound (or larger) burger patties -- not that this is too much food, but I think a double cheeseburger with two 4-5 oz patties is typically much better than a single 8 oz monstrosity. The worst is when these huge patties leak a bunch of juice, and you end up with a super soggy bun. Highly unpleasant eating experience. Retvrn to tradition -- smaller burger patties.
