>cuts for 5 months to get ripped
>goes off cut for 2 WEEKS and returns back to built-fat mode

Holy Moly, Cutting is a GIGANTIC WASTE OF EFFORT, the body DOES NOT want to be ripped, the fact it re-adds so much bodyfat in such a short period of time despite having cut for so long is proof cutting is a complete waste of ur life

Builfat is the only maintainable body, those people who are ripped year round HAVE to be some kind of genetic phenom's

I think youve entirely missed the point of what I said

You can cut for half a year, and completely reverse the effort in 2 weeks. The body is PRIMED for re-gaining bodyfat when you've spent months getting ripped.

THE BODY DOES NOT WANT TO BE RIPPED

Not true at all.

When you've been in a calorie deficit for a prolonged period of time and get 12% or below bodyfat, the body enters a state of of incredibly PRIMED for fat storage, so when a surplus of of calories become available, the body STORES a ton of bodyfat like crazy, and this bodyfat cannot be quickly removed again, you literally have to grind it back off again over months.

This is literally a survival mechanic the human body has built-in.

Cutting/Bulking/Cutting/Bulking actually primes your built in survival mechanism to be PRIMED for fat storage.

I made a huge mistake of doing bulk/cut cycles for 10+ years and now Im completely fucked, my body's survival mechanism for fat storage is insane. This is positive if there's even a famine, but it's extremely bad for trying to be ripped, my body works completely against me now since I activated the survival mechanism in my body from years and years of bulking & cutting

RECOMPING guys are delusional and retarded, recomping is honestly mostly a meme, but eating @ maintenance while getting stronger/fitter in the gym is likely the only way to avoid your body activating its maximal fat storage survival mechanism

Back in 2015 I cut for 8 months, and I completely reversed all the progress I made within 1 month of eating normally, I wasn't even binging or anything, I was just eating like a normal person, but I had completely lost my 6 pack.

All I did was stop autistically min-maxing my diet and calorie deficit. I have never bothered cutting ever since then. Its not worth the time and effort. I will be honest though I loved the way I looked, but it required me having radical militant tier dedication to a very high protein very low calorie diet.

Bro If I ate exactly how I wanted everyday with restraint this is how I would be.

>Breakfast
3-4 slice thick cut French toast, half a pound of bacon, 3 eggs with cheddar(3500ish calories)

>Lunch
12 inch cheesesteak and fries(2000 calories)

>Dinner
Half a 16 inch pepperoni pizza(1600 calories)

>Snacks
2 liter of soda, maybe 3 donuts(2000 calories)

I used to eat exactly like this when I was obese. That was 9100 calories in a day.

It took me a very long time to build up enough self loathing to power through my appetite and get my pangs weak enough to deal with.

Appetite is certainly genetic, but the pain from pangs will usually reduce with long enough caloric restriction. However should you ever overeat, the painful pangs will return for a minute.

If you eat in a calorie surplus, you will gain fat. That is ultimately accepted as factual scientific information. So it seems you have the issue with reality.

And no, because 1 I don't know you, care to know you, or value your opinion as another man to myself as a man. I don't need your judgement or validation. I'm only a little longer than a year in the gym. So no. I do not have a 6 pack, my lifts are intermediate at best and beginner at worse.
Maybe in another year or so I'll be where I want, so no thanks, I'm not open to malicious commentary from children.

But regardless, tracking my macros to my bodies needs and seeing results is what keeps me going. I definitely am sensitive and self conscious about my body, I won't even deny that. It's why I still wear jackets to the gym when it's 110 out.

I told you FAGGOTS already, when you're in a prolonged energy deficit, your body becomes PRIMED for storing bodyfat the moment you go back into a surplus, even if its a small surplus, your body has a survival mechanic built in thats millions of years old that will have you store a FUCK ton of bodyfat

I am so SICK AND TIRED of you copeing delusional faggots who think "its just water weight brah"

Get a fucking clue.

This happens to every single fucking guy that gets shredded, they IMMEDIATELY re-gain tons of PURE BODYFAT very quickly after the diet ends, way than you think it does, it even some how bypasses typical CICO expectations, though this is as I said likely connected to the millions of years old inbuilt survival mechanic in the body to ensure the sudden abundance of calories is STORED and not just burned off since the body experienced a prolonged energy deficit

CICO seems to break in extreme circumstances, and that would include prolonged deliberate energy deficits which are required when getting ripped.

No, it’s just your subhuman monkey brain unable to understand what CICO means and the relationship between energy and mass
Anonymous No.76482050

CICO itself doesn't break, because people forget the effect of hormones and metabolism on energy expenditure. And large, prolonged caloric deficit slows down metabolism thereby slowing the base metabolic rate.

A person can have the same height, weight and muscle % and still have different metabolic rate and therefore TDEE, depending on whether he cut down to that weight rapidly, or whether it was reached over a longer time but with increasing metabolism on the way.
