>He skips eccentric
That's just about impossible. You're stronger on the eccentric anyway so it's normal if the eccentric looks smoother and easier than the concentric. All of those influencers you see making a huge show of their 8 second grindy eccentrics, making it seem like they're dying are just playing it up for the camera.
>has no time under tension
Who cares? TUT doesn't matter, never has, never will.
>doesn't train to failure
Not absolutely necessary and going to 0 RIR on every set is probably detrimental.
>cries when doing 22lb dumbbell lateral raises for 10 reps
Most likely different form to what he's used to. If you straighten out your arms, keep your chest up and do all the gay instagram cues, yeah 22 lbs can feel pretty heavy, but you're just mechanically limiting your force output, not placing any more tension on the muscle.
>cries over doing more than one set
I haven't watched the entire video, just this snippet, so idk but this sounds like an exaggeration. That said, anyone used to training to like 3 RIR will have a dip in performance when told to go to 0 RIR for multiple sets (which is stupid anyway because the whole point of driving up intensity is to make it so you can do less volume and vice versa), especially if it's higher volume than you're used to, so if that's the case then there's you answer.
I see this is the power of dumb natties who follow roidtranny advice and make no gains, huh?
