I don't know nor I care, to be honest.
My heart is completely healthy (despite I smoke and all the stuff I take and have taken and I'm not talking only about supplements (including pre-workouts). Never steroids though).
I do have a smartwatch, not exactly high quality one but still, that I got gifted in my birthday on december by my sis, and I don't use it at all. Leave me with old reliable digital Casio watch, water-resistant and high impacts resistant.

Because you can feel it, breh. You don't really need a machine let alone a smartwatch even if it's a good one like the one in OP pic, to tell you. How do you know how accurate and reliable is the measure of the watch?
Anyway, as I said you can feel it yourself just pay attention and "listen to your body" I think. Personally I have never ever felt any ache in my hearth, never had or felt out of the chart, extremely high palpitations (and I have done drugs like pills at rave parties, like that one time I took three one after the other cause the first and second ones were lasting too much to hit in so then they hit in all at once and I reached another fucking dimention, where my BPM must have been high as all fuck but ironically you don't feel any pain, or anything physical at all... Cocaine a bunch of times, smoked crack, took 6 scoops of C4 with several pills of modafinil or methilphenidate a bunch of times...).
Do I have any cardiopathy? I don't think so. And yes, I have had hearth studies done.

I have the same watch but black. Disappointed with the lack of watch face choice and customization and the horrific second app.

Been wearing the thing for a week now rhr is 47. Expect it to drop to low 40's when I get a couple of good nights sleep.

Just checked and it gives an average of 58 bpm in the last 7 days.
It is weird, because I do mountain biking 3 days/week and spending time in the zone 5 is normal.

Mine is 65. I got it down from 100 by doing daily vigorous cardio after my weightlifting sessions. It is shocking to see and feel the difference. I skipped cardio for 15 years because I thought it was gay and would cut into my gains. It has done the opposite. I can really push and recover on leg days and have actually gained muscle and strength. Don't skip cardio.

Lifting never really helped with heart rate it really only when down after about 4 months of consistent cardio.

Fuck it, this is a smart watch thread now. What are the best options for non-chink Android-compatible watches that won't break the bank? Samsung 6 Classic or FE both look decent, but <1 day battery life is insane.

between 45-55 depending on the day
I've seen it go down to 39 before in an absolutely relaxed state
>>76479511
I am using Garmin Forerunner 255 right now and loving it, if you run it's a huge upgrade over the 55, love my custom workouts where I can set the pace and all the target intervals and everything, training metrics are cool too, the GPS is very accurate as well

I do the stair master, recumbant bike and the upright bike. I dont run because I have a torn miniscus and any impact from running is very painful. I do 30-40 mins of cardio after my lifts which I do 5 times a week.
What do you do?

I do nothing which is why I ask kek. Just lift weights and go for walks. I'm pretty lean but RHR is like 80ish, seems pretty bad compared to some anons in this thread. Makes sense that cardio would improve gains as long as you don't overdo it- stronger heart, better bloodflow, better recovery etc.
Need to start doing it, just been lazy I guess.

Give it like 2 months of doing 20-30 minutes after your lifts. I personally prefer the cardio bike because its comfortable to sit on and you can really close your eyes and focus on pushing yourself as hard as possible. Hell I think Sam sulek even uses the recumbant bike. After 2 months my cardio had improved so much that it started to impact my daily life. I moved a new marble vanity into my house weighing 268 lbs and although I would always be able to lift and move that much weight, when I was done I hadn't broken a sweat and my heart rate barely went up and I wasnt breathing hard. Sex has also gone through the roof where before honestly I was a huffing puffing mess after 30 seconds. Chasing my kids around at the playground felt like work and now I outlast them. Its so obvious to me now it should have always been part of my workouts. In regards to lifting performance I notice the time to recover in between deadlifts and squats has been reduced to 1/3. I would legitimately take 5-6 minutes to catch my breath in between squats and now im ready to go at 1-2 minutes. That shortens my leg day because if have to catch my breath in between leg press and lever squats and it totals uo to about 30 minites of saved time which I then just use on the cardio bike so im not really losing any time anymore. You sound like youre probably in better shape than I was but im certain you'll notice the difference. I started slow doing 15 mins on like level 8 on the bike now I do 30-40mins on max and burn about 500 calories. Probably not impressive to bikers and runners but for a wannabe bodybuilder its not too shabby.

Snap. Haven't noticed any wraparound artefacts like that with Garmin. I'll keep an eye out.
