If you can't eat it raw, you shouldn't eat it at all.
Subject.
If you can't eat something in its raw form, you should not eat it all.

You can eat raw meat, as long as it comes from a healthy animal, and not get sick (steak tartare, carpaccio, mett, etc.).
You can eat raw fish, as long as it comes from a healthy fish, and not get sick (sashimi).
You can eat/drink raw eggs, as long as it comes from a healthy bird, and not get sick.
You can drink raw dairy, as long as it comes from a healthy animal, and not get sick.
You can eat raw fruit, as long as it comes from a healthy plant, and not get sick.

You CAN NOT eat raw potatoes, even if it comes from a healthy plant, without getting poisoned.
You CAN NOT eat raw rice, even if it comes from a healthy plant, without getting poisoned.
You CAN NOT eat raw grains (hence bread, pasta), even if it comes from a healthy plant, without getting poisoned.

Therefore, the natural human diet is meat, eggs, fish, dairy and fruit.
I'd love to hear (and laugh at) your arguments on this topic.

Potatoes are fine. It's the Clostridium botulinum bacterium that you can't eat raw.

>potatoes
you would need to eat over 10 potatoes to induce a toxic reaction.
>grain

are you also going to tell me that people don't eat seeds?
you cook rice, because drying is part of the preservation process.
