melatonin doesn't cause down regulation and there are some decent natural sleep aids besides melatonin which can be obtained naturally in the form of phytomelatonin

Deep breathes. Count them while taking them. Hold them and count. Slowly release and count. Repeat.
Usually does the trick if you are struggling to fall asleep.

There’s a much more simple solution
Sleep whenever you’re tired. A healthy human with proper hormone production will sleep 8 hours a night. If you’re sleeping more then you’re more likely stressed physically and mentally.
Proper hormone production can only come from eating naturally (plenty of organs, muscle meat, animal fats, eggs, all consumed raw) and getting plenty of sunshine.
Exercise stresses you and naturally your body wants to sleep. I recommend stop exercising (walking is not exercise) but if you wish then be prepared to sleep for longer.
Don’t wake up with an alarm like a slave. Wake up when you want. There is no such thing as oversleeping. It’s physically impossible because your body will not allow you to oversleep.
Nothing to do with schedules, TVs or phones

Autism blanket, fan blowing, sleep mask, Chamomile tea, earbuds in playing ASMR or Alan watts if I'm overthinking like a retard. Sometimes ill just imagine cool stories in my head until I fall asleep

>Start supplementing Zinc (picolinate) and Magnesium (glycinate)
>Dreams go absolutely crazy
>Wake up well rested at 5am every day
Anyone else experience this? I started taking them to boost test but this is a welcome side effect.
I've also started getting in to bed at 9pm, reading until 10. Switching my phone off helps as well.
I bought a lumi light (second hand) which makes waking up much nicer.

Something else I've been doing is wearing medical tape over my mouth when I sleep. It's stopped my snoring, sleep talking and I don't wake up with a horrible taste in my mouth any more, also feel very rested.
These eyemasks are kino too

I don't get why everyone says looking at your phone in bed is bad. I watch video game videos with commentary and I don't last more than 15 minutes without getting drowsy.
