>become personal trainer certified after paying $400
>it grants me the right to become a personal trainer for 4 years.
>passed the test
Now what
I have no 6 pack
I have no big biceps or pecs
I'm not a bodfybuilder
I like boxing so I tend to do cardio and look on the leaner smaller side
That doesn't impress people when selling personal training.

I have 2 options. First is that I forget about boxing and just bodybuild and become a personal trainer and be happy. Or throw it all away at a shot of being a professional boxer (which comes with CTE). What do?

You paid $400 to a scam. Do you think anyone looks up what certs a trainer has? No. They just show up a gym and ask for a trainer. You could just photoshop if you thought it was important anyway.
Not going to answer your question since you clearly already have CTE

Okay so not only are you an asshole, you're an idiot, because every hired personal trainer is certified through those tests.

Everyone at a shitty globo gym. You think louie Simmons had a pt cert while he was getting paid for s&c programming from multiple NFL teams?
Anonymous No.76481563 [Report]

So you are certified by none other then NSCA? Impressive! But do you really know what you are doing?

I am currently on a cut, i want to maintain muscle mass and strength while i develop explosiveness for my martial arts performance (kick boxing), how would you set up my routine?

Use social media to market and brand your self, post proof of your certificates there. Repost useful things and give your thoughts on it etc to create "content"

Unironically look up hard2hurt on youtube
He did exactly the same thing - he was into boxing, became a PT and gradually started training clients. He has one or two videos about it if you search
Iirc basically you can either go and coach out of a gym, or begin to build your own home gym to train clients out of

This is the problem with the PT industry. Its predicated on profits over long term sustainability, leading youth under the misconception they will make tons of cash while getting clients fit. The reality is you have to grind it out and hustle to build a long term & prosperous career, and most become disillusioned by earning peanuts and paying exorbitant gym rents and barely have the people skills so they quit and ply another trade.
Zoomers also have no idea how to engage with people, and it's the kind of job you need to meet & greet people so you're shit outta luck. Also, you are your own walking advertisment. Whatever you specialise in, why would anyone hire you if you look like shit?
It's the grift of the millenium: health & wellness.

clarification:

Pretend to be intermediate at any martial art in a week to get a job as an instructor and get private lessons, 50+/hr. Maybe set up a dojo of sorts.

The real PTs (you know, the ones actually training freak pro athletes) are the most dyel, pudgy people you'll see because they have to read books and spend time learning their trade instead of working out to satisfy your homoerotic conception of a trainer, faggot
Anonymous No.76482116 [Report] >>76482132
>>76482108
More like those who train real athletes aren't about looks but effectiveness, function over form rather than form over function, you really are attaching your gayness to these ideals and projecting like an insecure fag.

Retarded zoomer. Put your phone down and open your stupid eyes. "Dyel and pudgy" because they are "learning their trade"? Holy fucking cope, you sorry-assed zoomie loser. You haven't got a prayer, your parents failed you.

Maybe these days, PTs were actually useful in the 00s, you are the village idiot crying into Chat GPT to have it formulate copy-paste plans it steals from somewhere else, your loss for being a brain damaged idiot. Certain shit requires PT and that's heavy weight lifting or martial arts training and technical sports.

You contradict yourself. Knowledge without mileage equals bullshit. Where's your lived experience?
Your mindset is exactly why zoomie undergrads with law degrees start grinding it out 5 years too late. We're going in circles here, go away.

having trained winner athletes. that's the experience. ill take someone like wang haotian who looks like total shit, drinks, smokes, eats like a pig, never does any sport but has trained multiple world and olympic champions over any ripped ncsa certified pt

I've see fat pts who have work, the majority of people looking to get into fitness are turbo normies who will look up to you unless you're fat, fit people don't hire pts

LOL no I started lifting in the mid 00s good luck getting any gains with retarded 3x20 high volume bullshit straight from whatever roitranny bodybuilding magazine the PT was reading. Somehow ChatGPT manages to be even worse than that btw

No one has ever contacted and hired a trainer for their generic PT cert
Anonymous No.76482518 [Report]
>>76482306
The problem is a lot of pro and d1 trainers just coast by off their clients' elite athleticism. Anything they do works because they're genetic freaks. Clearly a lot of them don't know SHIT with the moronic stuff they do
Anonymous No.76482524 [Report] >>76482593
So how much people skills do you need to be a pt. Like, just basic? or be an extra normie extrovert type? If we are mostly there for the exercise you can focus on that. But some clients seem to hire them to have someone to talk to
Anonymous No.76482593 [Report]
>>76482524
Most PTs are salesmen first, trainer second. Only if you have an established job with a sports team or work at a gym that does it for you are you not having to constantly shill your services to new gym members you see.
