Supressing Hunger Anger
So whenever I do intermediate fasting with one meal a day I can cope with the hunger pains. But what I have found is whenever I do it there is an apparent personality change that people around me see and I am apparently far more tetchy or angsty to an uncomfortable degree. Because of this I always try to have 2 meals a day at lunch and at dinner, but I want to start doing serious calorie deficits as I am doing keto and this time round increasing ketones has been a lot harder than my previous runs for some reason.

Is there a solution to this? I want to fast but I don't want to be an asshole either.

>intermediate fasting
>serious calorie deficits
>keto

How about you just eat a "normal diet" while being in a small to moderate deficit instead of doing every retarded fucking meme under the sun? You literally falling for every single gimmicky retard diet shit that has been popularized over the last 15 years? Of course you are posting children tv hour gif to you emotional manchild

Because Keto just werks compared to eveything else I have tried and I know people who have done it and drop from 17 to 12 stone in a matter of months

Why didn't eating 1800-2200 calories of carbs, fat and protein work?

But to answer the question about mood. You can influence energy levels (and mood) slightly by meal timing. At what part of the day do you need to be on your good behavior? What part of the day can you be a little grumpy? If you got work then place your meals during work time so your mood is better. Then you will be grumpy later in the day. But there is also no way around this, when you are in a caloric shortage it will effect your mood and energy levels to some degree and that is just how it is. Deal with it, be zen, be non-reactive.

And what happen to your fatty friend after those months of doing keto? Did he regain the weight when he went back to normal eating?

So you did this previously and then got fat again?

I mean it does, but it's slower.

That's a fair point. I do 7-7 shifts so it's a tricky one. I could have a meal at lunch on shift but I think it would be tricky to do a meal beyond a sterotypical pack lunch while on shift if that makes sense.

Yeah does seem like an unavoidable reality. I suppose I will just have to cope better behaviourally.

He's doing it as a lifestyle thing and is at a steady weight now he's at 12. I have known other people do it in phases before going off for a month and then going back on with semi-success. I have been doing it for a 2 months now and I have had some success but it's been slower than what it was like a few years ago when I worked an office job (stopped because I went too far the other way and passed out on shift). I hope to get to a steady weight myself and just do maintenance calories on a carb inclusive diet.
