Not quite on topic but I find it hilarious how people start mumbling to themselves when I pass them. It's some sort of nervous reaction and it's crazy just how many people do it.

Its like an involuntary smile with a hint of shyness behind it. Usually dimples are more pronounced and their cheeks redden and eyes sparkle. Its a good thing. Very different than how a girl would smile at a little kid.

I often smile and I usually do a little hands up / wave, or a head nod. Sometimes I'm in the zone and don't acknowledge at all. Definitely not weird to notice a fellow /roon/er and give a little encouragement! It's fun and nice. Sometimes I will even go for a high five if the vibe is right.
