1 week scale change means nothing. Even if you fast and eat NOTHING the whole week you will lose roughly 2kg of fat. Your actual weight loss was mostly water and food still in your gut. Also there's no such thing as 'same exact shit', bioavailability is dependant on a million factors like the food source, cooking method etc, two identical looking chicken breasts can have wildly different macros

"Calories in calories out" is absolutely, necessarily true. It's basic physics. The thing where it can *seem* deceptive is that reality is more complicated than nutrition labels and calorie calculators. Are you weighing your food? Are you actually counting all your activity (this is practically impossible) as it rises and falls? And then what happens inside your body just moment to moment as it metabolizes everything is enormously complicated, pic related and every one of those steps has dozens if not thousands of factors that can impact on it

Sorry friend, it looks like you've forgotten half of the equation! CICO is "Calories In, Calories Out", not "Calories In, Crash Out on /fit/". You're going to need to account for the fact that:
>CO (week 1) != CO (week 2)
This could be caused by a wide variety of factors, ranging from changes in exercise, NEAT, undigested food or water weight, etc.
You could also being lying about calories in, but I find that hard to imagine since you're such a sweetie pie.

Glycogen. There's 3g of water for every gram of glycogen in your body. If you're at a deficit consistently you'll shed most of your glycogen and the water attached to it. So you get a massive weight falloff then just maybe a couple oz a day. This is absolutely normal and you're just seeing your actual deficit reflected here.

When I started my cut I weighed myself every day and used the data to make a linear regression. I think it helps with thinking in the long term.

You can see an obvious trend in the results but if you took any given two days one week apart it would most often give a different result than the overall trend.
