I've been doing SL 5x5 for a few months now and while the numbers have gone up, my lifts have stalled pretty hard, especially my squats and deadlift. Would this be because of the squat frequency in the routine or am I just doing something wrong?

Isn't that the whole point of SL, or any beginner program? You progress with the lifts until you can't anymore, then move on to another program.

But how do I know if I can't do the lifts due to having reached the end of the program or due to being bitchmade?

>end of the program
end of the program is when it stops working not at some arbitrary number. see pic rel for largest online data set we have on this sorta shit. if it stops working you move on instead of spinning your wheels for months on end in eternal deload meme cycles that take you nowhere.

You can read about what to do when you plateau, and when to switch from the program on the stronglifts site.

You say arbitrary number but that chart pretty much proves that the standard for a 200lb individual for reaching their peak in an LP is basically just below 1/2/3/4, which is often said to be an arbitrary standard

But shouldn't I be able to reach 1/2/3/4 with Stronglifts?
