3 sets of 5 reps, start with a weight you can do about 5 reps of, then every session of that exercise afterwards you try to add reps with the same weight until you can do 10 reps for all 3 sets, then add weight and go back down to 5 reps and repeat. Slower than other programming schemes, but you can continue to progress for a long, long time.
