I've been on Min for two months now to fill in my temples and I've grown hundreds of small baby hairs and my hair has gotten very slightly thicker. There was some shedding initially but that seems to have stopped. I'd say it's worth it but I'd still go more research just in case. I haven't used Fin since I heard there's a higher chance for negative side effects.
