I've lost 70kg in the course of 3 years and I have 7 more left to go down. I'm fucking exhausted though, both mentally and physically, I'm eating 1800 kcal, running 12km every day and lifting 4 times a week. I want to fucking eat my maintenance kcal already I'm fucking tired of being weak all the time. Should I fast for 1,5-2 weeks to get rid of the remaining 7kg and finally be done with this nonsense?

Tuff one, I had a maintenance break with 10lbs left to lose after losing over 100lbs and never ended up getting back into dieting and ended up puting back on 20lbs actually. If I can do it again I will go balls to the wall and hit my goal before even starting to think about allowing myself a break.

This is what happened to me as well. Lost 100lb, got into a situation where I couldn't maintain my diet. Then regained most of it. Next time I did rolling 72 hour fasts, and yeah it sucked fucking balls for a while but I finally lost it all and reached my goal.

If you've actually been on a grueling diet/exercise combo for a long time and you're not enjoying it, give yourself some time away from it
Don't pig out, just eat maintenance for a bit to recover. Think of it like a lifting deload
Either that or man the fuck up and finish the job
