Any of you faggots felt any difference from taking any of these supplents both physically or mentally?

>L Theanine
>L Citraline
>phoaphatidyl Serine
>creatine

All probably placebos.

My lifts are simply better when on them.
>NOOOO But you're only seeing those improvements because of a placebo
I'm still seeing the benefits, so what's the problem?

Creatine literally adds like 1/2 inch to my measurements in water retention. I've cycled off and on creatine and noticed a bit of extra strength.

Everything else is bullshit, you get it from eating the right foods. The only time you need to take supplements is when your docotor prescribes it because your bloodwork shows it's low.

You can take supplements too if you're not getting enough of something because you can't/won't eat the thing that has it. For example taking krill or fish oil tablets is a good idea if you don't eat any fish.

If you're a vegan you should supplement vitamin B12.

first time I took creatine I had tunnel vision for an hour. quite weird since I eat meat regularly so it shouldn't have a big effect

L theanine used to feel nice but now actually gives me anxiety, l citruline doesnt do anything for me, creatine definitely helps me recover and look fuller, not by much but its cheap so I still take it. The other one ive never tried

>l citruline
I like it, take with TMG, feels like I have an oxygen tank in my lungs, it's a powerful vasodilator, increases NO bioavailability and O2 uptake, you're basically less likely to feel short of breath when you're pushing hard, even if you run out of breath after a heavy set, you'll go back to normal pretty quickly. I like it for heavy leg days, literally can't do those without l citruline.
>creatine
I fucking loathe this bitch. It might improve your performance, it might make your muscles bigger, but it makes my face bloated and saggy, I look 15+ years older on this shit, I literally jowls when I take it long enough. Idgaf about its benefits because it makes me look like utter shit.

Forgot to add, don't ever buy commercial l-citruline, buy raws, it's really expensive and the doses are tiny, Realistically, you need like 10g of that shit a day. Just buy a kilo from your fav wholesaler.

Yeah, l-theanine actually helps lower my anxiety and it does work nicely in combination with caffeine to take the edge off. It's not strong, but of all the otc shit I've tried it was the best. Citrulline works for pumps but I have to take 6-10 grams of Citrulline Malate to get a good pump. I can get that much easier if I have a high carb meal the night before and take some salt with water before training.

When would you take theanine? Any specific brand?

L Theanine helps manage the after effects of coke as well.

Mix it with some Valerian root and Melatonin and you’ll be sleep 3 hours after your last line with noticeably less side effects next day.

creatine is real. It definitely puts some water in your muscles and helps with gains.

L-theanine is absolute bullshit. Even the descritpion of how it feels is nonsensical.

>promotes a sense of calm and relaxation without drowsiness. Many people report feeling more relaxed, focused, and less anxious after taking L-theanine.

How in the fuck does something make you simultaniously feel relaxed, but not sleepy, but also focused. Not buying it bro this is snake oil. I have also taken like a gram of the shit and felt nothing. FUCK L-theanine and the lying rats who tricked poeople into buying it. /spit

You should focus on recovery supplements instead of performance supplements.
Gains are made during rest.
Creatine is a wonder supplement because hydrated muscles are happy muscles.
Otherwise:
Glycine
Tart Cherry Extract
Magnesium Glycinate
That's all you need for recovery. Creatine does everything. Recovery AND a little performance.
Get your sleep. Good sleep. Get in bed by 10:30 PM.
Don't eat past 7 PM. Don't drink caffeine after 4 PM.
Don't drink anything past 8 PM.
Then make sure you get your vitamins and minerals. As much as you can from fruits and veggies and then supplement to fill the gaps.
There. You have the best chance at everything now.

Theanine really helped me ease my anxiety + of quitting caffeine it's like I pressed 'new game in life'. The other one is creatine, it literally made me keep my strength and even break some pr's in this cut.

>Valerian root knower
I really will start to look in L-Theanine. I've had it in pre workouts before but how is it as a standalone supplement.
How does it compare to something like valerian root?

I mix it into my tea, lol. I drink sweet black tea, so the LC taste doesn't bother me, the smell of the powder itself is by far the worst part.

Creatine & Vitamins are the only legit things in that pic and the vitamins only factor in if you have a shite diet really. I still take them though, better safe than sorry, and excess vitamins only fucks you up if you got shit kidneys or something. Just make sure you take them with a bit of something fatty. Helps with absorption.
