Do exactly as Mike did (RIP).
Suck lots of cock and do lots of meth.
Don't knock til you try, and his results were undeniable.

Bumping this thread. Give me some knowledge. I do wrist curls, reverse wrist curls, reverse grip ez curls, but i'm a wristlet (7 inch wrists at 6'4) and my forearms look emaciated despite deadlifting 3.5pl8 for 5 reps and 10 reps of 1pl8 added weighted pullups

There's like 6 gorillion muscles in your forearm. Doing basic movements like wrist curls and grippers won't hit all of them. Look for other grip/wrist/forearm exercises and movements to cook all 6 gorillion. Cycle through 2 or 3 different forearm exercises to failure during every workout. Never do the same workout twice in the same week.

There are plenty of drug addicts who you wouldn't know are drug addicts. Some people are just smart enough to know they need to recover from it before doing it again. Mike was big on recovery too.

I feel a lot of forearm burn with slow and controlled concentration curls with a full extension at the bottom (to the fingertips and curling it back into the palm)

I also do a lot of weighted dips and pull ups

What >>76495275 said but add some grip work to it. Personally, I like grippers and some of the training equipment climbers use (finger boards, those little rubber bands for stretching).

Generally accurate. Long muscle bellies are the number one factor to massive forearms. The more muscle you have vs tendon, the more there is to work with.

Same with calves. guys (blacks) with short muscle bellies can only ever hope for lollipop calves, not diamonds.

My forearm muscles start at the middle of my forearm. I have no muscles for like the first 4 inches from my wrist, and my wrist is tiny. I spam pullups, deadlifts, wrist curls, grip exercises, reverse curls, you name it, and i still get comments "wow your wrists are so small" I CAN'T FUCKING CHANGE MY WRISTS FUCK YOU I'M ALREADY INSECURE

Same, they insert super high up the arm. Even growing the forearm muscles looks stupid because they are so short. I also have exceptionally long forearms for my height, which obviously doesn't help. When I go to events or hotels and they put on the bracelet they often make comments or give me funny looks. I can't really wear any nice wrist watches either, because if the case is too big it just looks ridiculous.

Same as any other muscle, if compounds aren't doing it you isolate it. If that's not enough, try to isolate every head in the muscle with its own exercise. Find the time if you care that much.

There's a very obvious body type that has thick limbs like forearms and calves just by default. If you dont have these genes, dont ever listen to those people: they likely have no clue what theyre doing because anything works for them. Life isn't fair.

if you do armwrestling the wrist will get bigger from all the tendon conditioning, but mostly the bottom part with the palm, not side to side

Yeah i did all the exercises armwrestlers do, and the inner side of my wrist where the tendons and ligaments are didnget bigger, but my peoblem has always been wrist width. 6'4 with 2.5 inches wide wrists lmao, i look absolutely rdlidiculous. And i have big hands so i look like i have mickey mouse hands. And people constantly comment on how small my wrists are, i'm very insecure about them and there is literally no way to grow them

If you want actual physiological changes do compounds and not just classic deadlift bench OHP but try variations like deadlift from behind or doing bar shrugs, idk if zerchers help but you have to keep tension so i imagine they do
Otherwise if you just want the look and pump then do isolation like everyone

Can people stop giving advice to natty hobbyist gymgoers as if they are mr olympia level roiders? No shit one of the most prolific steroid abusers didn't have to do forearm exercises. But what about the other 99.9% percent of the population this doesn't apply to? You never hear Olympias or elite bodybuilders talk about forearm and neck exercises because these muscles are extremely receptive towards steroids.

this,
protip never ever do forearm exercises, theres no such thing. Attempting to do them can actually seriously fuck up your arms at even light weights.
All the growth happens as a secondary growth trigger of the primary exercises

Elite armwrestlers push their forearms to the limit and their arms aren't fucked up.

They've held world records in one-arm pullups before, some of them have strict curl world records while not training specifically for biceps. They also mog strongmen like Brian Shaw in grip without even training for it.

Same for rock climbers but on a smaller scale.
>>76501167
How many sets and reps do you do? Maybe try higher reps and volume. Armwrestlers trian their forearms everyday or every other day. They recover quickly.

Yates is right that if you work out at RPE 9-10 and squeeze the everloving fuck out of the bar you'll grow legit forearms. I don't think direct forearm training is really necessary but I think stuff like forearm rollers are really great if you insist on hitting it directly or maybe just incorporate stuff like farmers walks which are gonna hit all your yoke muscles + forearms

Lift heavy ass weights just like Mike. Mike had great forearm genes and built his forearms mostly from handling heavy barbells without straps. Dorian Yates was also a similarly gifted in forearms and got them the same way. If you have the genes for it, you won't have to train them directly. Roids help with that too.

If you don't have the genes for it regularly perform the following on an arm or back day:
>hammer curls
>wrist curls
>gripping--preferably with a hammer strength style grip machine though a barbell can be substituted for this purpose
These should get you the most if not all of the forearm size possible for you. Just a few sets of each at the end of the designated workouts.

Ignore memes like rice buckets. It's a cool warmup. But not a good exercise.

He wasn't on meth persay. He was on amphetamines like Adderall prescribed by a doctor. Mike started them to further his writing career because he was a workaholic and wanted to feel conscious all the time so he could work on his magazine. It had nothing to do with body building. Also the gay for pay thing was a myth made up by a faggot who wanted to be an internet personality.
