drink a lot of water and try to eat as much food as possible. Your body needs support in the form of resources from your food while its fighting the infection

depends on the illness. since you're probably sick from aids there's no cure, but if it's a common viral cold it goes away with time and there's no other cure, so treatement is symptomatic and generally tylenol every 6 hours as needed, plenty of hydration and limit strenuous activities if possible

A few things. Good sleep, no alcohol, low stress, intense cardio, also daily zinc. Things help me prevent getting sick in the 1st place, and if I do, I recover much faster

Best thing is prevention by being as healthy as possible (eating right, getting sublight, getting plenty of sleep, etc.), but if I happen to get sick:
I just listen to my body until it passes. If I'm not hungry, I don't eat. If I'm tired, I nap.

eat a raw garlic clove, stay well hydrated, fiber pretty much any food/supps that will give you many of the vitamins previously mentioned ITT and rest anon
if you have the shakes let your body sweat it out, don't hide under the covers even though it will be against your instincts.

I rarely get sick, but when I do it's always the same strong cold or flu so my advice is only for these 2.
Heat, lots of heat. You need to sweat a lot, drink hot tea, take electrolites, chicken and vegetables soups are a godsend, also lighter meals, but still eat your caloric intake, your body needs the energy to fight the disease but if you eat too much it'll divert the energy to digest the food. Don't fight a fever, unless it's over 39°C for at least 24 hours, but let it do it's job. You'll feel like shit for a few days but you'll recover quickly.
