Is it true that the only way to get big calves is to be heavy? It kind of makes sense because calves are an endurance muscle. Most people do like 10,000 "reps" of walking per day. Doing 20 reps of heavy calf raises shouldn't make a difference, but doing 10,000 steps with 50 lbs more weight should. It also seems like the only people with big calves are fatties and former fatties.
