It's a lot of subtle social rituals that if you are not aware of than you are pretty much locked out. I realized that I have been repressing my sexuality as a straight man because I've always tried to be "polite" by not bothering people. I have been working on it by asking out some girls and trying to do more things for the sake of my sexuality but being emotional vulnerable fucking sucks and takes a lot getting used to. Got laughed at asking out my coworker last month and it's motivated me to get back into lifting erryday.
