Metal screaming
Thoughts on the act of simply mimicking the lyrics of metal as a work out?

I've always thought of heavy metal as a high energy type of music, like it isn't really good unless you've got your veins bulging and it's playing loud and you're sweating as you're singing along.

For referrence, the type of metal screaming I'm talking about, when I sing along to the music in my car sometimes, it makes me sweat quite a bit, is this a viable workout?

You’re in luck fellow retard, I’m not listening to your vac but just know that without proper technique on any kind of metal screaming you WILL fuck up your vocals and it’s a cunt to heal. By all means yell and let out noise but don’t try and sound like an actual vocalist because most people naturally use their vocal cord to make the scream when it’s actually mostly airflow control and not nearly as much noise effort as vocal chord effort as you’d expect

The gay screaming is the number one thing that keeps me from enjoying metal. The excessively busy drumming is (a distant) number two.

Metal is great but I hate the lyrics, so I download the instrumental versions and mumble like a whiny faggot to myself

Piano covers of metal tend to be pretty nice.

I like power metal, it pumps you up and the vocals are generally more melodic.
