Calling it 'overnight oats' is retarded.
You don't call microwaved oats '2 minute 12 seconds on high oats with milk and peanut butter'

Overnight is just the name for the type of preparation, it’s not used as a unit of time you colossal retard.

I agree. Cold oats are gross.

so I can make 'overnight' oats and eat them immediately? there is not time factor whatsoever with 'overnight' oats?

Yea. You can leave “overnight” oats in the fridge for 30 minutes and eat it. Wont be good, but you can.
Anonymous No.76508771
Get oats, pour water over them, eat in the morning. Takes literally 30seconds to make and then less than 5 min to eat. If your brains are too cooked to need dopamine from food every time then you are far beyond saving. Pathetic.

I do instant oats, pour coffee out the pot on them, scoop of protein, handful of blueberries and a spoonful of cinnamon and honey. It's super good.

lmao imagine being this obsessed with reddit. Overnight oats suck tho, the texture gets fucked up. I just microwave my oats in water the morning (use microwave at half power they boil over in your microwave or use a much bigger bowl).

Go with rolled oats if you want to make them quickly or steel-cut if you want to spend 20+ minutes making oatmeal. Instant oats don't have great texture and can cause pants shitting.

Protein powder turns my ass into a fumarole. Any “natural” protein sources I could use? I know there’s Greek yogurt but I already eat a ton of that,
Anonymous No.76511265
>>76510483
Not enough protein, you're just eating carbs with your recipe. That would be ideal if you're going to do it before a cardio, but not really so as a breakfast.

>>76511239
A few raw eggs mixed in would be less protein overall but would at least be something. if you whip it up and pour it over the oats, maybe add a little flavor, it would probably congeal a bit overnight and make it not so bad to eat.

>Wake up first thing in the morning, get my tiny cast iron that I eat from every day for the past few years
>work from home, big apartment, sun rays hitting my small kitchen through large windows
>heat up LARGE STEEL CUT OATS on medium heat for 5 minutes, not minute oats, because I have patrician tastes
>haven't eaten slop from a "breakfast" cereal box in over 10 years (okay raisin bran is good too tho)
>oh, can't forget to heat up some orange pekoe tea on the kettle
>Out of frozen berries, rats.
>Instead of my usual frozen berries and semi-sweet chocolate + coconut oatmeal I switch it up
>today it will be ripe banana, honey, and a bit of brown sugar plus cinnamon
>cut up the banana with my honed sharp kitchen knife that I use to cut fresh fruits and veggies every day
>add them in the hot oatmeal
>pour myself some hot tea, in a double insulated cup so that I get a nice luke warm feeling as I grasp the cup and not burned.

It's the little things. Rushing in the morning is for plebs
Anonymous No.76513324
I eat it almost every morning for breakfast.

Either that or I'll make a strawberry smoothie.
