going to public gym was the best decision in my life
>people admire my physique
>lots of beautiful girls that aren't following the "oh ma gawd cweeps staring at me ass"
>everyone is friendly towards each other
>everyone is helpful (including me)
>became more social with everyone
>surrounded by likeminded people
I'm just happy about gym and I wish it were optimal to be there for 3 hours. Do you prefer homegym or public gym? why?

/fit/ would have you believe being antisocial and alone is based when in fact you surely get more gains by lifting around others. I’m sure this can easily be proven if not already that on average you get a few more reps purely from motivation of being around others in a public gym vs lifting by yourself

going to public gym was the worst decision in my life
>have to constantly wait for other people to finish
>once you finally get to do the exercise you want someone is immediately annoying you with "when are you done" questions
>absolutely horrid blaring music so forced to wear headphones while lifting
>have to wipe fat people ass crack sweat from every single seating position before using it
>loud dyel zoomers and wannabe influencers constantly filming everything
>forced to wear masks and get triple vaxxed in order to go to the gym
yeah no thanks, homegym master race always and forever

It really depends on location
Small town gym? It’s great
City gym full of niggers and jeers hogging equipment? Sucks ass

Most pros and athletes work out in groups, nobody denies that it's usually better. The argument for a home gym is always convenience. The average guy going to the average gym has to work his day job first, change clothes, commute, and hope the equipment he wants isn't taken for long, and doesn't have much of a choice in the time he works out or for how long he does it.

Wholesome, but not everybody has access to a place like that. I do things alone.

Did you really think this was a real wide spread phenomenon?

This btw, I couldn't see myself working at home after being a NEET for so long, being surrounded by people, especially girls, is nice.

I do wish I had a treadmill at my home for fasted cardio in the morning thou

only turbonerd autists dont think that 90% of people are good people. the average person isnt some mega genius, but they have their moral compass set on straight and will more often than choose to do the right thing.

i go to a public gym at 1am in the morning and its like being a millionaire
the most people theres ever been is me and two other lifters while one of them had his gf there chatting while he rested
usually its just me with the complete run of the place and the night cleaner will turn up for 30-60minutes to hoover about and take the bins out
hes really nice and always gives me a little pep talk to lift harder when he sees me going for failure
when i go in the day time its hellish though
