Low volume.

Looks fine if your exercise choice is good. Starts slow as hell but eventually turns into a top set with backoff volume which is a fantastic protocol desu.

Solid program just make sure you toss in volume with the isolation work you will need to add in. I ran this for about two years and made great progress on my bench and deadlift. I got the numbers I wanted and switched to something more fun. Everyone should try it at least once in their life. After 15 years of this shit, it can get old.

15 years working out, two years on 5/3/1. I would kill myself doing that for 15 years.

its good, if low volume is an issue run one of the variations that just have you always working with sets of 5+, 5 working sets at the prescribed weight + the 3 ramp up sets from something like building the monolith is 40 reps per day of heavy compounds which is more than enough for strength gains, then its up to you to do extra work if you want

I did it for two years. I didn't really like it, I found the difficulty very inconsistent. You have weeks where the main sets are so easy it's as if they don't matter at all. This is especially apparent in week 1 and 2 of any "5s PRO" variant. So you do a bunch of sets that feel too easy at 65 or 75%, but then it hits you with a practically impossible TM test, where you have to increase your TM by 10 lbs AND do 5 reps at 100% without grinding to "pass", it is so comically more difficult than everything you have done leading up to it, and if you fail you're supposed to deload AND go back to week 1, so you do more sets that feel too easy and as you work your way back to the TM test again you have almost almost no experience at that weight so you fail again. I know wendlertards like to answer any criticism with "well actually this is already addressed in the Dickshitter Template on page 461 of 5/3/1 Forever 3rd edition FINAL FINAL edition for real this time" as if you need this many different books and variants that are all just shuffling the percentages and set order in the week.

picrel is an older pic that's after about two years of running the program, I feel like the only saving grace of the program was doing all the recommended chin ups and dips, because for the main sets I was just spinning my wheels

I've never taken roids in my life and roidtrannys are absolute faggots. I mean I've lifted on and off unseriously since I was a kid, first time doing a bulk cut cycle in the last two years.
