Beginner bulking
100 grams of bacon, 100 grams of peanut butter, 2 slices of bread, is this really 800-1000 calories? so if i eat 4-6 in a day

Nope, you need to think about macro ratios too not just calories.
Bacon and peanut butter is mostly fat and carbs is just bread, where is the protein?
Protein should be your main focus then carbs then fats.

Diet really isn't complicated, pick foods that allow you to reach your protein goal comfortably and easily within your calorie goal. Fats/carbs are for energy, they can be modulated for your goals.

You'd probably benefit from more carbs than fats (as a transportation of your diet) if youre an active person, but you're so clueless it probably doesnt matter.

i did but figured it was too good to be true somehow from struggling to get calories before

Just buy the powder and optimize it. It's the cheapest and easiest way to consume protein.
