sous vide is only useful in a professional kitchen, especially so when you consider how cooking steak is literally two minutes in a hot pan an both sides

Just use instapot + airfrier
All you need for a fast no bullshit diet where you dont have to deal with cooking
I dont spend more than 10 minutes in the kitchen

Everyone is retarded. Everyone.

Why cant you people use a regular oven? What's so hard about throwing a pile of meat in at 130 C and waiting 3 hours? Literally zero input required from your part. Imagine buying retarded kitchen gadgets to cook meat.

Why not buy a combine to mow your lawn while you're at it?

What if you don't have 3 hours at a time at home to make sure your house doesn't burn down?

Describe to me a living situation in which this is a scenario that reasonably occours. Keep in mind, if you are doing meal prep you needn't bulk cook things more than 2 times a week

PS your food getting scorched wont set your house ablaze

Airfrier is the better oven
>smaller
>faster
>cheaper

Waiting 3 hours is gay
Meal prepping is gay, I want my food freshly cooked
Anonymous No.76515654
Its incredibly wasteful, honestly only good for a few types of dishes, and takes way longer to do. Also you're fucked if the thing turns off during a long cook (which my anova would do) and you don't catch it.

A lot of the dishes still require a quick pan sear or extra cooking anways so no fucking point

Need I list the 200 things you can do in an oven that you can't in an air fryer?

Also this whole thread is about OP trying to optimize cooking. You say air fryers are smaller and faster but you aint fucking cooking anything above a meal for two at a time, so smaller = needs loading multiple times = not that fast plus you need to be around it and fiddle with it as opposed to the F&F oven solution.

Get the fuck out. I only use the air fryer if I need the oven for something else and dont even get me started on how much more annoying it is having to clean that shit as opposed to an oven tray.

it always kills me when I remember dumbass millennials tried to convince everyone that boiling their food in a fucking plastic garbage bag is somehow a luxurious or high-end form of food preparation. just lmao

You honestly sound very lazy, boring, and unfulfilled. Kind of retarded as well. Get off 4chan, you clearly don't have the mental constitution or strongly developed internal identity to handle it. You probably read some loser talk up the whole le stoic philosopher monk bodybuilder thing and thought it was cool (and really just an easy way to pretend to have an identity when you're too lazy or useless forge one through living intentionally)

It's not cool it's gay as fuck. Not saying cooking has to become your hobby but trying to autopilot your way through life just lifting heavy metal is fucking retarded and lame.

Easy
>small bags off aliexpress so you arent cutting that shit
>buy 4 packs of chicken breasts at costco when on sale
>use a dry seasoning like Kinder’s, or just classic salt and pepper
>season your chicken in a tub then vacuum them individually
>cook em in a couple batches
>ice bath to cool for refrigeration
Because there’s less oxygen and they are pasteurized they last an incredibly long time in the refrigerator. 4-5 weeks, but I go through these in about 3 weeks.
The time saving for me is my meal prep is now just rice and broccoli. Then I just weigh each chicken breast and minus 5g for the bag.
Helped me lost 40lbs, so I dont care about the plastic.
