Whats up with doctors wanting to stick their fingers in your ass? Why can't I give myself a prostate examination? I bet I can feel and get used to what the inside of my ass is supposed to feel like better than some overpaid nerd.

Not saying you technically couldn't, but you don't know what you're looking for and if you've never touched it before, you'll have no idea if its enlarged or normal.

Just because you finger your ass and decide you have hemorrhoids or need further investigation for a lump of asscancer, doesn't mean you get a prescription or a referral to MRI or whatever

thats kinda my point, if I stick my finger in my ass and feel around for a bit, I can probably monitor for any potential cancerous lumps better than a doctor.

I'm not saying I should be able to prescribe myself medicine or treat myself for cancer, just that the annual "check ups" they are pushing is a grift
