Roadwork
How can I simulate the running experience on an elliptical or rowing machine? I can feel my heart pumping for its life while bikes donโ€™t faze me.

PS: I do 3 miles of running 2-3 days a week, one HIIT sprint session, and one top speed sprint session (to lower my 100m) a week on top of my plyometrics. Should I swap my speed session for another HIIT workout?

Those machines can never replace running outside or even the treadmill because there's no impact. You are getting cardiovascular training but thats it

How can I run long term without my knees getting screwed up apart from stretching and warming up? Should I just start popping peptides?

Sadly I didn't grow up playing high impact sports so now everytime I start getting into running again I get shin splints and have to quit for a month. I stopped going on concrete and starting using indoor tracks, and switched to shoes with thicker, better soles and still got fucking shin splints. I fucking hate em and have em right now. Treadmills are definitely a joke compared to actually running but for fuck sakes shin splints suck dick you faggot.

Could be a joint health issue in which case, a few months on a fuckton of vitamin D and physio can improve your outlook. Also anti-inflammatory foods and OTC pain killers can possibly do something
