>if you get the pain once, it never goes away
>ruins all prospects of your running career forever
>(actually affects some lifts like squats too, so say goodbye to heavy squatting)

It went away for me after resting but fuck it keeps coming back if I run consistently and I have to stop running then.

Majority of injuries like this arenโ€™t permanent. The issue is what is causing is often different for different people. I had wrist tendinitis for a year and couldnโ€™t figure out why it was going away until I found a good PT who figured out I had hyper mobile shoulders being the cause. I focused on shoulderstability and the pain is mostly gone.

It might take a few pts but itโ€™s fixable.

I've had that some but also have a very weak glute medius in my right leg and so also have issues with the tfl taking up the slack and getting tight and sore as fuck. Been working on it, making big progress.
