Is training lightly everyday better than training harder thrice a week?
By training light, I mean 10 min cardio and a couple of sets of lifting everyday
Training """""heavily""""" (by my standards) is 30 min cardio and 5-6 sets of lifting every M-W-F-S

I am not trying to get big. I am trying to lose weight. Consider picrel, I am an 8 trying to be somewhere between 2 and 3.

Not possible witthout roid. Or at least not possible to maintain without roid. Being 3 or 3.5 is more realistic.

Stop overcomplicating shit, lift on MWF, do some cardio TT, if you want more add both days of the weekend as cardio, eat make at least 60% of your diet protein, eat whole foods and that's pretty much all, fitness is a solver issue at this point.

btw, 5 to 6 sets of lifting aint saying much op, lifting what? Right now that you are very fat you can just do some bodyweight (Empty bar if you wish) squats some other compound movements, this is mainly to maintain muscle while losing weight, not to get supper big, once you are much smaller you can start working out properly. You should probably focus on injury prevention right now.

Only if you have the skeletal frame. Most people dont, sticking to 3 or 3.5 will prevent you from looking fat due to muscles having more overlap and less separation.

Yes. Frequency allows higher intensity which means more growth/progress.
