They also exercise in the evening. Some of them don't exercise much at all. These articles are fucking retarded, as evidenced by >lots of Nike gear and ChatGPT

I mean that's not false you have most of your energy in the morning. Same for sex actually
Just many adults don't have a choice because they're wageslaves
Early morning training is fine for cardio and general fluff but no way am I doing anything over like 80% 1rm or otherwise high RPE (20 rep squats etc) at 6am
I don't understand how some people can just wake up, grab some water, and start pounding the weights without breakfast first. There's no way they are reaching their fullest potential on an empty stomach.

I think you are right in terms of optimal muscle building, but psychologically it feels amazing to get solid progress done before you wageslave.
A lot of people like that would grab a banana/nuts/shake before they actually work out though.

True. But working out in the evening is also awesome since it feels like a natural transition from work to relax time and eventually sleep.
For half the year I commute by bike, so I guess that ticks the exercise box for me by default. For the other half I'm subject to traffic and it's least consistent in the evening. For that reason, I come to work prepared to exercise afterwards, so I can wait out peak fuckwit traffic hours. If everything smooth when I'm done at work, I can drive home and exercise there.

“Success” influencers push morning routines constantly because it makes the average sap think that they can unlock their full hidden potential if they just do a handful of things every morning. A good morning routine can be nice and helpful for various things but as should be obvious it’s what you spend the actual rest of your day doing that makes a difference. I personally work out in the morning because it works with my schedule and I enjoy having less traffic, less people at the gym, etc. and I admittedly do enjoy the feeling of “starting the day off right” or whatever.

It's entirely possible, you get used to it.
I lift before work (on WFH days) because then I know I have the rest of the day for leisure or whatever other than lifting. Knowing that you still have to lift after work can really poison my day, so best get over it as early as possible.

I use it to track calories, estimate macros and micros, as well as inputting my various lifting schedules and weights looking for suggestions and critiques. Dont take it all as 100% fact but i do like the estimations and second opinion. I ask it about variations on exercises, recipe substitutions, protein sources i might not have thought of. Lots of little stuff

Is this true? We have a gym at work (big pharma manufacturing campus) and the people seem to sort as follows >6:00-7:30AM
crowded, young cardio bros, young women and security team >7:30-9:00AM
a lull: facilities guys, fat guys (this is when I go), black guys and old guys >9:00-10:30AM
gymbros of all ages from interns to old men >10:30AM-12:00PM
Middle aged women and older non-Whites
Any time after noon is unusable

This is like saying people who live longer healthier lives have horses. People who are rich live longer healthier lives and can afford horses. People who are rich can afford the leisure time to be at the gym every morning instead of a 9 to 5.
I hit the gym in the middle of the day because I don't want to interact with people.
I used to go at night but this influencer chick started going at the same time as me and her simps followed. Made the whole place crowded at what used to be a good time with less people.

I wake up at 5, have breakfast and lift at 6 >>76527549
can confirm this, a couple of times I slightly vomited in my mouth deadlifting so now I deadlift on weekends when I have enough time to digest my food
It’s less about the exercise part and more about the waking up early starting your day doing something productive part which in turn puts you to bed at a reasonable time and the process repeats as opposed to being some degen who stays up all night gaming and fapping and sleeping the day away
I always lift on evenings after I accomplish my work/chores so I can go to sleep right after coming back home
I tried working out on mornings but its just making me tired and clumsy for the rest of the day
mornings are only good if you do some light/short training just for the adrenaline to wake you up
