Hey fit. Started lifting in January of this year. Got more serious about it over the last month and have dialed in my diet the last 2. My goal is to lose weight and get bigger muscles while maintaining athleticism and aesthetic.

I'm down to 190lbs from 250lbs early 2024. Trying to get to 170lbs then doing a lean bulk. 5"9, Male.

First pic (the one on the OP) is Nov 2014, 2nd is 1 month ago, 3rd is today.

Anyone notice any differences, have tips, or encouragement would be appreciated.

He's not skinnyfat, he's just fat. Plus, most skinnyfats' lifting motivation can't handle a bulk right away, they'll just end up hambeasts. OP ought to continue the cut while lifting, and once no longer a lardass, SLOWLY bulk up. And I mean 300-500 calories/day bulk.

Focus on getting stronger, and losing fat.
When your bodyfat is high enough that you can't see your abs, visible progress from fat loss is slow. Once you can finally see an outline of abs, visible progress will be much faster.

You already pre bulked. You already have the calories on your frame. If your training wasn't absolute ass, you'd recomp as you lose weight and not need to "bulk"

I mean, I'm eating 2000 calories 5x a week and 2700 2x a week. I lift for 45-60 minutes and walk for a hour 5x a week and disc golf and go out on weekends. I'm only trying to lose 1lb a week and my diet is all stuff I enjoy getting 150 grams of protein and staying within my calorie allotment...

Maybe I'll just switch to a straight recomp when I get some more fat off me but I feel dialed in right now so I'm gonna stick with what's working.

I'm aware I'm still eating at a defecit. I'm just trying to lose the fat and keep/build muscle and get down to 170. I want to do it in a healthy way to try and avoid loose skin since I'm coming down from 250lbs.

You'll need to get to around 155 to be around that BF% if I'm honest with you.
