help a beginner out?
I've been going for a while and I have a couple of questions that got me worried.
After a few weeks I've noticed some progress and I was really happy about it! However for some reason my muscle aren't growing anymore (I'm aiming for hypertrophy or whatever it's called). I've tried switching up my routine and using heavier weights but nothing's working. if anything I feel like they're getting smaller.
I'm not sure what to do, I think I'm eating enough protein and getting enough rest, I can lift heavier weights so I am making some kind of progress, but It's not showing.
At this point it might be a mental thing.

also ever since I've started going to the gym my wrists hurt so fucking much when does the suffering end,, the gym trainer helps me with form so maybe I Just have weak wrists or something.

Lastly, I don't actually "feel" the muscle I'm training. I just feel tired all over, but i rarely feel that specific muscle I'm working out, I'm not sure what to do, I try to go until failure every set. Even after I'm finished with the workout, I never feel too tired/my muscles don't hurt. what am I doing wrong bros..

Eat more, make sure you're getting more calories than your daily maintenance. Aim for 100-130g of protein. ~10 sets to failure per muscle group per week. Good luck bud

Your muscles recover faster after a while so muscle soreness won't be as notable as it was at first. The quickest way to get stronger is to get heavier and ramp up weight in proportion.

Big 3 reasons for not making progress at gym
>not enough food in between sessions
>not enough rest between sessions
>not enough water between sessions
Really, though, it does sound like a mental thing to me. Unironically, stop thinking about all this and just lift/eat right as a routine. The rest will follow.
What youve said about the wrist thing is concerning to me. You might be lifting too heavy right now. An injury is never worth trying to progress faster. Personally, I would deload by quite a bit until I had those wrists where I wanted them and go hard on legs during that time. Are either pushing or pulling exercises more comfortable than the other on your wrists? You could also try to focus whichever hurts less a little more, if youre determined to lift heavy while your wrists hurt.
In any case
>you evolved into shellgon
>but you will be salamence soon so chill out brother

You're just weak, not much else to be said, keep going and don't stop going. Just try to do more than last time and look up how to do "progressvie overload."
