Do steroids really have side effects?
I see quite a lot of guys my age (20-30) in my city that take some form of test. It's especially noticable on Strava when they also do a ton of cardio. But they all seem very healthy on top of having a really jacked and aesthetic physique. On insta or strava they also often post with their girlfriend, so their sex life can't be bad too.
Are the side effects of test just overblown? Like so many young guys juice a bit, have a good body and do well with dating.

Yes, steroids have side effects. No, these side effects do not instantly ruin every single aspect of your life and health. Be careful when observing others, as people tend only showcase the positive and are fairly frequently just faking it anyway. Nice trips.

The side effects of steriods are wetting female panties and getting laid more. Just keep your diet clean, do a bit of cardio and check your bloods. Every single person in Hollywood and every single person playing professional sport and every single model/fitness model is on steroids. You cannot be big and ripped without steroids.

Steroids aren't killing you in your 30's, 40's 50's or 60's if you're sensible. Your bloods will tell you that you need to change something decades before you suffer something serious. Stop being hyperbolic or pointing to edge cases. The vast majority of people live perfectly healthy lives on roids. If you keep it to TRT doses and only do test and don't fuck with compounds side effects are pretty minimal.
Guys who knock TRT are just nattyfags who have no experience with the compound so they really shouldn't have an opinion on TRT and its effects.

-If you are prone to male pattern baldness it will speed that process up, if not hairline stays untouched for the most part.

-even at TRT doses you will become infertile so to avoid problems down the road if you plan on having kids freeze your sperm.

-When you first hop on you may experience mild body acne but that clears up as your body adjusts

-Don't hop and T see great results and then go into compounds, test is a gateway to compound abuse. that's when you just end up looking undeniably juiced and get unwanted sides- 200mg/ test a week will just have you looking like a guy who has reached his natty limit.and judging by picrel that seems to be your goal. It won't make you look freakish.
As long as you're okay with the sides that have been listed T may be right for you.

Well from what I know is that once you start taking steroids your brain or whatever starts producing LH and FSH, basically it stops sending signal for your balls to produce test and sperm. It destroys your natural system.
In a way TRT or just plain steroid use can be considered a form of male birth control. It can become VERY hard to conceive a child and who knows if your fertility really returns to optimal levels even if you stop, especially if you like many others decide to have kids a bit later on (30s-40s). Your balls shrink.

It's up to you if it's worth it. In a way, once you start taking gear or TRT that shit is for life. It's a commitment. If you fuck around you can run into life changing consequences.
Imagine finding a woman you actually want to be with and being unable to have a child with her, then she leaves you because she wants children and you can't give that to her.

Fuck it dude, stay natty.

Anonymous No.76540770 >>76540813

Even low doses fuck with your LH and FSH.
Drop in fertility is inevitable, I heard that you can maybe go to an IVF clinic or something and get hcg to help increase LH FSH and help restore fertility, but again no guarantees.

I don't think those guys even think about this or consider this. For them it's I want results now, I want to look this way now. Building a family is a far prospect, but once you start trying and literally can't, I can't imagine how devastating it can be.
Girlfriends obviously don't know about this. Shit like this only comes up once you are married or try having children. Till then I guess it's cool.

I dare not fuck with my fertility. I couldn't do that shit to my family and leave my parents without a grandchild all for some superficial temporary gains.

water and glycogen. Steroids cause masive increase in glycogen stores which cause acute strength increase very quickly after starting them. And it happens much to fast to be attributed to any substantial muscle growth. You;ll start to see strength increases in a matter of days.

this is utterly untrue. if you take a replacement dose, depending on your age it could take 4-8 weeks (with outliers) for your baseline testosterone production to resume. that's what decades of research shows.

You can very clearly see hematocrit issues early on, which is probably the biggest risk of steroid use as it increases risk for chronic high blood pressure and cardiac events. And if youโ€™re taking orals you can very clearly assess kidney and liver function from bloods. You canโ€™t see everything in blood, though, and if youโ€™re taking a lot of gear itโ€™s a very good idea to more carefully monitor your heart health with EKG and echocardiograms, but thatโ€™s if youโ€™re taking substantial stuff or using for a decade plus.

Bryan Johnson has found his biomarkers really improve from short-term sauna use. But you can absolutely die of heatstroke in one if you stay in too long; that was just the final nail in the coffin for Zyzz, like he probably passed out from drugs plus genetic heart skill issues then died from heatstroke before anyone found him.

I can't look better than roidfags, I will always look fat, deflated and small compared to them in any bf% and weight range. But what I can do is out lift them, and apply th mindset required to become strong through will, discipline and enjoyment of lifting to other aspects of life.
If you lift for girls, sure go ahead and use steroids. Some other anon ITT is talking in depth about fertility issues, but if you are the type to lift for girls and specifically short term relationships then that's probably not a concern for you. From what I understand this isn't a one-time or casual decision, you'll be dependent on a syringe habit for most of your life if you want to keep the gains you make.
Me personally, I just like to lift and I couldn't imagine doing this at all if I did it for external validation.

There is no free lunch.
If roids melt off fat that was used to store toxins, and create metabolically expensive muscle tissue, then your health is going to suffer in other ways - such as by heart damage, liver damage, brain damage, mental illness, turning gay, cancer, infertility and shortened lifespan.

Your body kills your natural test production to try to keep you alive, because your body wants you to stay in its flabby state, because fat is used to safely store toxins.

So a realistic cost you might get being a roider:
>lose 10-30 years of lifespan
>corresponding to the early onset of death will be an early onset of severe diseases. You will feel like you're 70 when your 50.
>be infertile at a young age, and unable to start a family
>turn into a tranny as your natural hormone production shuts off masculinizing hormones and begins producing feminizing hormones to restore balance. The feminine hormones will feminize your brain.
