I don't pay much attention to this, but I will from now on. Since I am increasing weight, I've started noticing the rear delts pain. Never happened before

You should. I let it go and quickly strained by pecs on my recent cut. I've since focused on doing that, and am starting to heal.

chest out, lift on breath in, touch the bar just before chest, head and eyes right under the bar

Switch to close grip bench press (shoulder width) + face pulls after the bench sesh to counter balance the negative effects of the former
