Is this healthy?
What does it mean when I have an overwhelming urge to dedicate every minute of free time I have to working out? Lifting, calisthenics, rooning, literally anything I possibly can? I've never felt this way before

strong sense to accomplish your evolutionary monkey-brain goal and pass your genes by putting your dick inside a member of the opposite sex so you need to attract them in some way and it's harder to do if you are a fat slob

But I was already lifting regularly, so the increase in the drive is concerning.

Yes, but that's been the case for my whole life. Nothing has really changed to make me feel this way

maybe on a subconscious level you realize that you are running out of time before all you get access to is used good and scraps
it's obviously counter-intuitive to everyone else but if you never participated in the "game" and don't know how to do it you think lifting more will help you accomplish your goal because that's what you always did and if feels good when in reality you should drop the gym and spend more time meeting women and looking for bitches instead
I don't know I never had sex maybe I'm wrong, let's wait for a chad to show up

It’s Maslow’s hierarchy, it’s almost 100 years old and one of the first attempts to try and explain human motivation.

It’s no longer accepted by psychologists but pop psychologists like it because, it’s simple and positive.

It means you’re a fanatic and prone to addiction. You’re channeling into a fairly positive outlet at the moment, in 5 years you will probably be doing the same thing with career and another 5 in family etc. don’t ever gamble.

my guess is you have many activities that offer mainly one of
a. fun
b. productive
c. self-improving
but only recently have realized that you have all three in this set of activities. If so, the risk is burning yourself out one way or another, and you could pull back a bit by accepting that not everything you do has to accomplish multiple purposes. You don't need to have fun even while taking a shit.
OTOH, maybe you're just hitting a groove. I've "worked out for a long time" but mostly sucked at doing different activities in a haphazard manner, and recently I started a new program which I like enough that I'm going to have come up with new restrictions, like "don't get some sets in 5min before bed you retard". But mainly this is good for me, nothing to see existential angst in.
