I want to join some /fit/ social activities like karate and a running club but I am just too fucking ugly. On their social media sites there are only attractive people at these. What should I do?

I was heavily bullied for being an ugly ginger during school. Most people see that there is something fundamentally wrong with me. I have normal hobbies and I am not autistic, my social skills are just not there, which is kinda obvious as someone who never even had friends.
I do gym, running, yoga and I like to play violin and sing (I take lessons for both). So karate, run club or even dancing would really interest me but these activities are dominated by attractive guys and girls, especially at my age. I saw it on social media, if they were to take a pic with me in it, I would stick out like an ugly orc or an incel on these "brutally mogged" photos.

they want to showcase attractive people in order to entice more people to join

They are really not, protip: most people on average don't look like internet photos, that is simple advertisement, for instance you don't want your lingerie products to be advertised by some fat woman instead of the hottest model you can find.
Just go there and find out. Worst case scenario you will never come back if feel like you are out of place there so you lose nothing.
I'm not sure about whatever trauma (or whatever it is) you had and what cause it but I assure you that you look just normal, nothing a surgeon wouldn't be able to fix anyway if you think you need that.
Also what is it about social skills that's making them so special, the "game" if you will.
Most people live boring lives going through the motions, they will be happy if you ask about how their day went and whatever, it's literally just a normal conversation that's virtually the same as the one you are having right now in this thread. As long as you don't stutter and panic when you talk you will be fine.

Are looks important? Sure, it makes things easier. Are looks all there is to a person? Absolutely not, just tamper your expectations. Rolling your balls to someone way out of your league will be looked at as weird, anything else is fine.

If you already run, choose one runner’s club for social practice and when you’ve gone at least three months, you can reevaluate. If you want, you can stop showing up and cut everyone loose, and take it easy for a few weeks before trying something else. I tried roller skating once it wasnt really for me at the time but I was weakmind because my dad was an alcoholic
I was raised in a way that made me feel like I wasn't capable of anything except being a good student. Now I can do anything I put my mind to but, it was difficult to grow up like that
