what are the pro's and con's of losing weight with T3?

NTA, but what about levothyroxine

what does NTA mean

Anonymous No.76543074
>>76543067
ah ok
well levothyroxine is T4 which is the inactive form
which means it can work but needs to be converted by the body into T3
so probably its less effective

You get a rebound dont you? So yoir natty production is fucked for abit of which you will get fat? Might be wrong, if its like hgh it will only last a day or two but if its like roids natty shutdown for weeks will be savage lol

Google Hyperthyroidism and pharmacological thyrotoxicosis.
Anonymous No.76543249
>>76543153
problem is, those google sources usually try to scare you in one direction, or just flat out refuse to nuance your position. Obviously, nobody wants a prolonged hyperactive thyroid. But what about a bit more active thyroid, for a limited time interval? The things I read about it sound more like pros, not cons. Also call me crazy, but ray peat was a proponent of thyroid acrivation

Lol that shit is fucking medieval get with the times boomer a little thing called ozempic has been invented

yea have fun losing 40% of lean tissue using ozempic and then regaining everything after you stop using it

Isnt it the same with this though? Lose abit of fat for a short period while on the drug drop the drug go back to before or worse than before...
Anonymous No.76543338 >>76544263 >>76553409
>>76543334
its the opposite actually because
T3 revs up your metabolism
ozempic turns your metabolism down
Anonymous No.76544012 >>76544129
okay but where does the extra energy actually go
what does it do in the body
i feel like making your body uselessly burn energy is perhaps not the best idea (DNP exists for that anyways)
Anonymous No.76544120
>>76543122
Yeah, you're wrong.
Anonymous No.76544129 >>76544142 >>76552880
>>76544012
the body doesnt uselessly burn energy, everything just is faster, you have more energy that way
for example a car, you push the pedal to the metal and the car goes faster
this is what t3 is, it makes everything efficient
and dnp is actually blocking a pathway so so the body gets warmer and warmer, actually blocking correct atp production that way
Anonymous No.76544142 >>76544311
>>76544129
>this is what t3 is, it makes everything efficient
wouldn't things being more efficient mean they use less energy? what the fuck are you talking about
>dnp blocks correct atp production
yes this is what i meant by "uselessly burn energy"

efficient is high energy input AND output
eat more = do more
thats why ozempic sucks monkey balls since you eat less and fuck your metabolism that way

so you agree that taking DNP and sweating your body to death increases efficiency?
Anonymous No.76544419 >>76544439

no because DNP is the opposite of efficiency since it blocks energy transfere

it increases energy out but more of that energy is wasted, so it decreases efficiency

What would be the T3 equivalent does to the following?

Semaglutide: 0.5 mg/week
Retatrutide: 2 mg/week
Clenbuterol: 40 mg(average)/week

Obviously these compounds work differently, but what's a "cookie-cutter" dose of T3?

Don't listen to this absolute retard.
>everything just is faster
Yes, faster pulse, faster breathing, faster heat buildup, faster exhaustion, faster aging, faster bowl movements, shaky hands.....
>you have more energy that way
No, you burn out quicker. The body's energy is not some fucking energy bar in a game that makes everything go zoomzoom the more you have. Excess energy have to go somewhere and it does not make you run fast like the flash. Excess energy damages the body and will make you feel shit.
>for example a car, you push the pedal to the metal and the car goes faster
Retard, retard, retard. A true example would be to liken it to a CPU. Turn up the energy and it goes faster, it also builds up heat faster. Turn it up too high and it'll start overheating and lose performance, continue and it'll stop working and shut down. It might even take damage or permanently break.
>this is what t3 is, it makes everything efficient
Have I called you a retard yet? I'll just throw in another one just to be safe. Retard.

t3 increases protein turnover rate, meaning you could lose muscle very quickly if not getting enough protein.
Anonymous No.76553482
>>76553409
is that also the case if you eat alot of carbs?
would that protect the muscles?
Anonymous No.76553516
>>76553409
>>76544685
How would one know if it is interfering with muscle gains? Would it show on some specific bloodwork I mean?

I've been taking 25 t3 and 100 t4 for two years now.
TSH was 5.5 I started with only 12.5 and 50, it lowered to about 2 then slowly kept increasing again so I increased the dose.
I heard 1:4 is a good ratio t3:t4, is that correct?

My bloodwork is fine now I'm just wondering if I'm taking too much long term I don't want it to interfere with my gains.
