If a men is able to survive and gets older, its an indicator that he is strong, smart, wise, capable and experienced, otherwise this fucking world would have literally, not figurately, killed him. These, then, physical signs of aging and survival, become attractive traits - therefore older man who display those traits become valued and "handsome"
If a woman is old it means she s getting closer to being past child bearing age and therefore far more useless. Women have always been valued primarily for their holes. This was true then and now. Every woman has holes. A great woman is also smart, kind, capable, resourceful, peaceful, but with holes. But a hole is really and truly just about 80% of a woman's value to men. We all know this. But if she is aged, the hole cannot reproduce and pretty soon wont even work well enough to fuck. Hence, indicators of aging in women are signs of a soon to be useless person (unless she is known persoanlly to you to otherwise be smart, resourceful, kind, wise, etc. - the wise old woman/granny type) in which case, nobody wants her. Also, older women have been fucked a lot. Nobody really wants to ride a fucked out bicycle.
