Girls hit puberty earlier now than before. I think it's majorly attributed to plastics and hormones/chemicals in food. My little sister in law started puberty at 8 and at 11 is already 5'1.

Nope, has nothing to do with obesity actually, although I'm sure consumption of more hormones = even earlier puberty. The kiddo I know, the one specific example, is in the US and skinny as a twig.
