there is no right way to abuse yer psoas - legs must be pulling BACK NOT TO THE FRONT IN THE HIP JOINT to isolate abs from iliopsoas, to switch iliopsoas off completely and rectus femoris also >>76550496

it's the isometric contraction of whole abs muscle that makes ab wheel more effective than others as measured by MVC ab wheel is superior to all. however to really measure the efficacy we'd need to compare muscle growth directly between various abs exercises. sadly that kinda info is very sparse. all we have is mvc numbers.

I don't do exercises that require extra equipment or can't be loaded. Abs are especially hard for me to load without fucking up my back.

yeah standing/kneeling crunches are good but ab wheel is better. me personally i like hanging knee raises the best very low impact on the spine and very effective for lower abs.

It's great if you focus on engaging your abs you'll feel it super hard
Just be careful to start with an easy color and go up slowly, picrel blue is somewhat between green and yellow I think but has some additional changes, don't have the infographic on hand rn sadly
