>gf wants to start going to the gym with me and fixed diet
>help with both of those things
>been about 3 months now
>she is doing fucking great in the gym and now manages her own diet without needing to ask any questions
>she looks fucking great too
>BUT
>her PMS is really bad now and seemingly getting worse each month
>been with her for years- this is very unusual for her. Very intense symptoms, especially mood-wise
Did I fuck something up here? Am I forgetting something? Are her hormones just adjusting the same way men's do and i shouldn't worry about this unless it lasts a lot longer?
Kind of at a loss here. It's not that I'm completely unwilling to talk to her about it specifically, more just that "hey it seems like your cycle has been really fuckin intense lqtely" likely doesn't have a high chance of a productive conversation kek
Tl;dr: gf started lifting/fixed diet and now her PMS is extremely intense. Is there any chance this is related to the recent health changes or is it something else?

It's only a couple days a month, just keep your head down until the storm passes

I don't have a problem doing that but I am somewhat concerned that this is a health issue for her. If it is, then it would be my fault since I was the one advising on that stuff and I'd see it as my responsibility to help remedy the situation.

Get her on roids or birth control, it stops PMS

You raised her sexual marketplace value and now she's trying to get you to leave

Assuming she's working out and eating properly, her hormones may be heightened from her body realizing it's more fertile than ever. Go 6 months or so without changing anything, she may just need time to adjust to the intensity of her cycle.

She is planning to leave you. PMS is just an excuse to vent her frustration until her exit strategy is secured.

>her mood is better than ever on every non-period day
>having better sex than ever
>generally much more pleasant to be around
It's that she spends her PMS time raging about people who are not me now. I think we're going to be fine; just want to make sure it's not a health issue I caused.

Do you actually expect me to believe this kek? I'm not 19 years old

It’s most likely related to her going to the gym, but not to the exercise itself, since PMS is known to improve with physical activity. Since she’s now going to the gym, she’s surrounded by a lot of guys, most of whom are more attractive than you. As a result, she’s getting moody now that she realizes she’s dating a mediocre man.

Dude, stop projecting. I'm happily married and we have children.
There's simply not other logical conclusion to your bitch being mody when all the science™ tells us she should be better now

Working out changes your hormone levels and those affect PMS. It's probably just that.
Anonymous No.76553610
It might be her diet, make sure she eats foods high in iron, vitamin c (helps absorb iron), and magnesium. Most women are deficient in these nutrients, this might be her body reacting to that alongside the exercise

Do you know how bad mood swings are when a woman is pregnant? That makes things worse

Is she latina?
Anonymous No.76555476
She likely has higher test levels as working out raises that + heightened protein intake which you guys probably take
that leads to higher irratability in women

Another reason is the high speed of change in the E2 cycle, women get cranky when their estrogen levels either rise or fall sharply.

Where did i read the theory that PMS was a strategy to push current mates away? This is something i heard from other places

https://www.sciencenews.org/blog/scicurious/hypothesis-evolution-pms-attracts-hostility

>Gillings hypothesized that when a woman had an infertile partner and menstruated monthly, the “hostility” associated with PMS could be evolutionarily advantageous: Women with PMS might direct anger at their partners, increasing the likelihood that the partnership will dissolve and leaving the woman free to find a better — and presumably more fertile — mate.
