>work full time as laborer
>Workout after day of work
>Workout length is cut in more than half
Is it even worth going to the gym like this?

I do manual labour as well, lifting weights regularly will get you injured in the long run no matter what. Ive switched to rings and swimming as well as daily conditioning, best shape ive ever been in.

Hello anon, similar situation here. What has worked best is doing two sets to failure per lift, two lifter per muscle group. I do this with a bastardized Arnold split that goes light on legs.
I can get a good workout in in like 30 minutes if I hurry, 45 if I'm not rushed. As a plus, I have found that I hit more prs after a solid days work vs my days off, for some reason.
Go lift anon lol come on, you know what you should do. Go with God brother.

Blue collar people were lifting weights and doing blue collar work in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s
Go ask them how they do it.

You gotta be kind of a normie and just do medium workouts with maybe 1 or 2 hard lifts in your routine. Or do workout classes like hiit or core or yoga.
Then maybe on the weekend do your harder bodybuilder routines.

if youre built for it:
workout BEFORE work, not after
you always feel fine if you get a good workout in before work because the workout will energize you. Just make sure you eat in between and get a decent amount of food on your lunch break.

realistically i just did 40-60 minute workouts, medium intensity, 4 days a week. Upper-Lower-Rest-Upper-Lower-Rest-Rest
