It's so weird to me that he probably genuinely doesn't give a shit about his appearance when he could look very close to the left, but older, again.
I was thinking that he sometimes must wake up and look at himself in the mirror and think "damn how did I end up looking like shit" but if he really did have moments like these he would be able to hire people to babysit him through the whole process and make it as easy as possible for him.

The overall motivation for lifting changes a lot over the years.

When I was in my early 20's I literally did it because i wanted the compliments.

By the time i hit my late 20's i continued to train because i wanted to get stronger. Now I do it because it gives me a healthy structure for my free time and it provides a great mental clarity i don't get elsewhere.

Everything goes to shit when i stop training regularly.
