>Look, the villagers are harvesting ripe bananas. There are cut into pieces and let in the sun to dry. But this villager has other plans! The bananas are cut and mashed using a stone mortar, creating a thick paste. The paste is filled into a plastic bag and let to freeze making for a cool refreshing summer snack!

You need to put them on a tray, let them freeze and then put them in a bag so they don't freeze together.

freezing fucks the texture
and all the bananas in the pic are massively over ripe
bananas are best yellow-green
when they're still somewhat firm and tropical tasting
once they're all the way yellow they're too mushy and taste like shit
i just buy a few days worth so i can eat them before they expire
then buy more
how hard is it to just pop in the store for fresh food stuffs every couple of days?
Anonymous No.76559675
Yea, jist fill a 500 euro freezer with 50 euro worth of frozen banaas when you could walk 5 min and buy fresh ones...

Depends on where you live. For me the nearest store is a 3 minute walk away.

But in typical american suburbs? You need to drive 30 minutes.
