The problem with intervening in these scenarios is that most of the Western world has given up on any idea of justice. This attacker if he had stabbed the woman or raped her would've just gotten 3 maybe 5 years in prison, and after this attack he is maybe facing 2 years in prison at most. It's only after being convicted sometimes 50 times, no joke, do the courts actually do something. Also most Western countries outside the US have incredibly cucked gun laws and self defense laws so there really is no point in intervening unless of course you know the woman.
