The best advice you have ever gotten

Don't ego lift in terms of weight

Why do we care about the strength standards, my arms are literally approaching 20 inches and I've never benched 225lbs

Maybe it's just genetics, since I've moved to "light weights" I have never gotten pumps this big ever trying to train for weight

Also the only cycle I've ever lifted on is 10mg ac262 and 12.5 enclo

I'm also in a 1000 cal deficit and my arms are still growing

Only started curling a few months ago

>Why do we care about the strength standards
If you only care about aesthetics: People who do heavy compounds look different from bodybuilders who do isolations. Bigger waist and less negative space, like around the shoulder joint it's all filled in with something and not just fat. I personally think it looks more masculine, and there's scarcely an argument that lateral raises are as masculine as barbell ohp. Many ladies prefer athletic intent to vanity.

this is true I have the same shit going where I look like I am twice as strong as I am. Some favorable genetics at play there. A combination of muscles that want to store a lot of water and glycogen as well as subQ fat storage on the arms rather than just all in the belly area.

But still bro if you progress your strength and then start doing big volume at bigger weights your muscles will blow up even more in the superficial sense. So that you are probably better off trying to make strength gains until you are actually strong IMO

I'm very fat but it isn't on my arms

This picture is with no pump, 2 days since I did a curl and I got 19 inches

If I took a measurement right after gym I'm sure it would be 19.5

Would it make you mad that I'm genetically superior to you in building muscle mass

All my lifts are compound lifts, there is just no reason to pursue the strength standard, ohp is probably my favorite lift, and that was one I actually exceeded the strength standard and was considered intermediate in, my grip was probably too wide in general but I did 165lbs 3x5 with strict form, what did that get me exactly, over staying at 1 pl8 or less and just getting a ton more reps with better form, I train for function, to look good, to feel good and not go to snap city

Are you obese? My arms are 15 inches flexed with a pump yet I can rep 225 for 5.

Meh i was lifting "way too heavy way too often" and it stimulates growth by making your muscles denser, making hypertrophy easier later on or vice versa. Maybe work on your front delts a ton for bench strength.

LMAO you are talking about your arm size when they look like lumps of shit that don't even have peaks

Whatever cope you have to come up with, you can clearly see the peak but you're seething hard

Subtract 1 inch of fat from my arm by squeezing the tape measure as hard as you can and I'm still at 18 if those are your rules

What happens when you squeeze the tape measure, do you go down to 12 inch pytons

You have eight inches of fat on your arm

What's the point of having large muscles if you're not even strong?
