Going hard at the gym would make me not be able to focus in school at least after a workout even compared to running. I also used to play piano and id play like shit several days after lifting.

WTF for real? Granted I play electric guitar with a pick and I play retard genres so nothing even comparable to the average classical piece but I've never noticed anything weird in my technique post-lifting, and I do lift hard.

muscles age regardless of the amount you have and it's better to start with more (up to a point) rather than less

I have no idea. I've run into this preconception before and what I've gathered is that people who believe that weight lifters or bodybuilders are dumb are actually the dumb ones. If you ever get the chance to talk to a person who is genuinely surprised that you are intelligent and jacked you will quickly find that they are an idiot. Yeah jtd take about a week to be back after one hard session, id be slower physically and mentally for sure. But if you say trained for a year and had higher endurance too youd probably be faster, my staccato is sharper now and its easier to focus since i feel like i have higher energy and i didnt build up a ton of cortisol in my joints.

This. I live in a feminist shithole of a country and theres this idea vastly extended between women and soibois that exercising=bad person. Sure, there are douches and bad people at the gym, same as in everywhere else, but in my experience most modern successful gymbros are blatant nerds, not really your roided drug dealer stereotype that everyone believes. Luckily, it seems that the mainstream hateslop is shifting towards hating bodypositivity and being ugly in general, people are starting to realise that being a fat useless piece of shit was not as fun as it seemed at first glance. Of course, there are die hard copers and full retard feminists that still glorify the victim mentality, but ive noticed a very strong sentiment of "wanting a change" in everyone.
